The Historic North Star House project has a new restroom!
David Wright Associates, AIA provided the design and working drawings for a new outside restroom for the North Star Historic Conservancy site located on Old Auburn Road near Grass Valley, CA. The North Star House, 1905, was designed by the internationally renowned architect, Julia Morgan. This house is of significant historic value as a forerunner of the “Arts & Crafts architectural style.” The conservancy is seeking National Historical Register Certification and Restoration Funding.
This new restroom facility will allow the public to visit the site and the conservancy to conduct educational tours, restoration work parties and special event activities to the 14 acre North Star House Historic Zone.
