David is the site architect for a long-term project at the historic north star house near Grass Valley, CA. He manages the design work and improvements for the 15 acre, nationally registered historic house. The Heritage Garden will showcase historic plants from the property that were propagated by A.D. Foote, the original mine superintendent, local nurseryman Felix Gillette, and famous horticulturalist Luther Burbank. The garden, designed by landscape contractor and designer Jim Pyle, is being funded and constructed by community service clubs and businesses including: Soroptimist Intentional, the 49er breakfast Rotary Club, Plan-it -Solar, Nevada County Fence, B & C Hardware, and many other donors.
